SAE Corporate Training has recently unveiled an ambitious new project in collaboration with TV giant MBC2 11/11/07
A team of top-notch professionals from SAE will play a hands-on facilitator’s role in MBC2’s exciting new ‘Movies in Motion’ drive- an action-packed road trip to unearth the filmmakers of tomorrow from amongst the youth of today.
Movies in Motion will use a two-pronged educational approach to fulfill its objective of ‘turning movie watchers into movie makers’. It kicks off with an extensive quest across the college campuses in UAE, looking for students with a special eye for detail and a creative mind. A state-of-the-art van, equipped with cameras, a wardrobe, props, lighting, sound and editing equipment and even actors will criss-cross the region- giving students a one-of-a-kind experience in the fine art of making movies. Fifteen students, nominated by their respective universities, will then get a hands-on feel of how to create magic on the screen, ably assisted by SAE’s professional team. SAE will brief the selected students on the concept, methods and requirements, including how to create storyboards and will also screen samples of mobile made films.
The 15 selected students will each present the Movies in Motion team with a concept on storyboards, from which the judges will select the three best concepts. The stage is now set for the next round, where the real action begins! The 15 students will be divided into teams of five, and each team will be given a storyboard that has to be made into a short 2 minute movie. The movies will be shot within three kilometers of the campus on a Nokia mobile device, with all the props the students need like lighting, equipment and extras provided by the mobile studio van. Besides the technical know-how and the mentoring, SAE will also provide students with post-production facilities at their high-tech campus, in case the concerned university does not have what it takes to fully bring out the film’s potential

SAE to providing training for DU - 23/04/2007
SAE Corporate Training will conduct a training course for DU, the new telecommunication company in the UAE. The week long training will teach participant on the various techniques to convert any given video signal into streaming or downloadable formats for mobile devices. DU is strongly committed in offering to its customers a vast array of media contents directly on their mobile devices. The training will be centered on Final Cut Studio suite 2 and particularly on Compressor 3 , the Apple leading application for audio video conversions. The Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) program is a relationship program focused on educational excellence and leadership. SAE Corporate Training launches " SAE Podcasting Academy" Giorgio Ungania, Corporate Training Manager for SAE International announced the launch of the SAE Podcasting Academy at the Getex 07 Education Exhibition in Dubai. The Podcasting Academy is a training solution for educational enterprises willing to introduce podcasting into their curriculums. SAE CT and Apple IMC ME Partner for workshops - 02/04/2007
SAE Corporate Training and Apple IMC Middle East are partnering in the organization of 4 workshops centered around Logic Express. The seminars are targeting electronic musicians and DJs willing to widen their technical skills and soundtrack producers interested in electronic generated sound design and sound composition. The workshops will be chaired by Nelson Moriera aka Afroboogie, resident DJ at Peppermint Club, the leading dance club in Dubai.
SAE CT partners with Gulf Photo Plus - 22/03/2007
SAE Corporate Training partnered with Gulf Photo Plus , the most prestigious photography conference in the UAE . In this year's edition SAE Corporate Training organized two full days workshops on digital Film Making. These "guerilla" seminars where entitled " Film Maker in a day " and had the scope of giving to participants all the tools required to get a quick kick start in digital film. SAE technical partners were Canon and Apple that provided students with their latest product. The event was been a true success and both days were already fully booked weeks before the beginning of Gulf Photo Plus. SAE Corporate Training is willing to participate again at next year edition.

SAE Corporate Training has organized two day intense course on the latest Yamaha 02R96 digital console for the Audio Visual Department of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel . The training course has covered all the new features of the console and its implementation in any possible audio visual event happening in the brand new Jumeirah Beach Hotel state of the art conference center. “SAE Dubai is the natural choice when we wanted to update our staff to the latest Yamaha technology ”, said Ben Ferguson AV manager of the Hotel.
